Advertising columns were and are very common in Germany. While today they are usually covered with big posters in former times they were actually used to exchange information like on a bill-board. This concrete column only recently still had some information on it! Note that local people are not very excited when you take photos of such morbid motives... Pasewalk is of course much more modern!

Recorded history: The owner of this house did probably not return from war. The inscription and the elctric installation is pre-war. The letterbox appears to be from GDR times, the doorknob definitely is...
